You R the window of my eyes / LGS #19

Voor de nieuwe challenge bij Let´s get Shabby heb ik deze layout gemaakt. Op het blog staat een foto die als inspiratie moet dienen voor je layout.

Als basis heb ik twee vellen van Prima Marketing van verschillende collecties gebruikt.

Op het roze vel heb ik de resist embossing techniek toegepast met een glimmer screen en het hek ingekleurd met walnut stain distress inkt het hek ingekleurd.
Het andere vel heb ik helemaal uitgesneden met een mesje, de randen flink in de bruine inkt gezet en gedistressed op wat ik de "Gabriellemanier" noem (rechts vind je een linkje naar haar blog).
Een afbeelding van een antiek raam heb ik vergroot en geprint op een transparante sheet. De raamspijlen zijn met distress embossing poeder (tattered rose) bewerkt, anders werd het allemaal te donker.
Tot slot een titel geplaatst met Basic Grey en Adornit letterstickers. De titel is een woordspeling op het nummer 'through the window of my eyes' van Cuby and the Blizzards.

This layout is based on the photograph that goes with challenge #19 at Let´s get Shabby.
I took two sheets of Prima Papers, from different collections.
On the pink one I used the resist heat embossing technique and a glimmer screen to create the fence. The fence itself is coloured with distress ink.
The other sheet is cut out with a knife, distressed with what I call the Gabriella way and the inside edges are also colored with brown ink.
Then I created a window by printing this on an clear sheet, in exactly the same size as the photo. Heat embossed the edges with distress powder tattered rose.
The titel is a pun upon a song by Cuby and the Blizzards called 'through the window of my eyes'
